The mission of the Rural Caucus is to identify and promote rural issues and candidates who are seeking elected and appointed positions at all levels of government.
To this end, the Rural Caucus will partner with the CDP, Central Committees, Clubs, Assembly Districts, Regional Directors, and Democratic grassroots organizations to raise Democratic visibility, voter registration, and support candidates and issues.

Our next full membership meeting will take place at the Democratic State Party July 27-29, 2012 Executive Board meeting in Anaheim.At the State Party Convention, we partnered with the Arab-American Caucus for joint discussion about candidate recruitment, local race electoral targeting and Gubernatorial appointments. Thank you to Arab-American Caucus Chair Basim Elkarra for a great co-gathering. We look forward to seeing members again in Anaheim.
